We sell our tenugui fabric by length, so you can choose the size that best suits your needs. All widths are the same, but you can select from four standard lengths: 90 cm, 180 cm, 360 cm, and 900 cm.
90 cm – Standard tenugui size
90 cm (standard size)
This is the classic tenugui length, similar to a regular Japanese tenugui towel. It is perfect for everyday use as a hand towel, headband, or small table accent.
180 cm – Long style
180 cm (extra‑long)
This longer length is ideal when you want to wrap it around your head or neck with more volume, use it as a longer scarf, or hang it as a vertical wall decoration.
360 cm – For traditional fundoshi
360 cm (fundoshi length)
This extra‑long length can be used to make a traditional Japanese fundoshi loincloth. It is also useful when you need a very long strip of fabric for costumes, performances, or special styling.
900 cm – For handmade projects
