“Chusen” hand pour dye tenugui hand towel, a traditional technique born in the Meiji era.
This is a pictorial tenugui towel with a Hinamatsuri (Girls’ Festival) motif.
It makes a beautiful interior decoration if displayed with a frame above and below.

The cherry orchids decorating the Hina-dan (Girls’ Day) come from the Sakon-no Sakura and Ukon-no Tachibana in the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which protects the O’naira-sama and Hina-dama.
