Originally developed in Japan during the Edo period, mosquito net fabric is known for allowing air to pass through while keeping insects out. Its loose weave makes it lightweight, fast-drying, and highly practical for everyday use.
The 37 cm square size is ideal as an all-purpose kitchen cloth — large enough for wiping dishes, countertops, and hands, yet thin and quick to dry after use.
It can also be used as an oshibori-style hand cloth or a multi-purpose cleaning cloth.
With repeated washing, the fabric becomes softer and more comfortable to the touch.
