This design begins with an original hand-dyed shibori fabric, created using traditional stitched resist-dye techniques.
Each circular motif was formed on real cloth, leaving subtle irregularities in shape and texture.
Rather than correcting these marks, the motifs were carefully developed into a digital textile design, preserving the rhythm and softness of the original shibori.
The pattern is arranged in an even grid, creating a calm and balanced composition while retaining the natural character of handwork.
The result is a versatile furoshiki-style bandana that blends traditional Japanese textile aesthetics with contemporary design.
