Bring new life to your Juzu with this traditional tassel replacement set.

This product includes a tassel designed for easy attachment using a classic Japanese technique.
Perfect for repairing worn or damaged tassels while preserving the original beauty of your prayer beads.

The method is simple and can be done at home with basic tools.

How to Attach a Juzu Tassel to a Cord

Before removing the old tassel, lightly moisten the threads wrapped around the inner tube to soften them.
This makes it easier to remove the tassel without damaging the surrounding threads.
Insert the cord into the New tube from the top.
Wrap the loosened threads around the tube and secure them with glue.

Adjust the threads so the tube is completely hidden.

To smooth them, use gentle steam (for example, from a kettle) and lightly comb the threads.
  • Do not pull strongly, as this may damage the tassel.
  • Do not soak in water, as it may affect the texture and make the tassel unusable.

Additional Information

  • Each tassel is handmade, so sizes may vary slightly.
  • Please avoid pulling on the tassel head (cap), as it may break.
  • Some folds or kinks may occur during shipping.
  • Slight variations in thread condition may occur due to handling and transport.
  • Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or discoloration.
