This is a set of silk threads for hand braiding obijime kumi-himo on a traditional round stand marudai.
It is used in Japanese kumi-himo classes. It is used with Marudai, Kakudai, Takadai, and Ayatake-dai.
One set has enough thread to make one obijime.
Each set contains units of threads, each set consisting of multipul silk threads to be wound onto the bobbin of the braided cord stand.
They are loosely tied and packaged.
The length of the threads is about 2.8 meters.
